I know I might be a few days late in posting about my new year’s resolutions but the start of the year has been so busy. Don’t worry, I’ve been thinking about them and actually put together a list on my phone…just haven’t posted them yet.
So just like everyone, every year the resolutions we make are always the same:
Get into shape/work out
Eat healthy/be healthier
etc. etc. etc.
Yes, I want to do those things to…I mean who doesn’t want to be in shape, lose weight and be healthy? So just like every year I’m going to try and do those things. However, there are also some other things that I definitely plan to work on/do for 2014 and have made it on my New Year’s Resolution list. Here it is. Official now.
1. LET GO
Especially of those things that I cannot control. I’m working on this but I want to make an even stronger effort for this year. Love this article I found on MindBodyGreen. I really want to work on becoming more grounded and happy. Of course that starts with LETTING GO (especially of worry and stress) something that I really, really need to do. If you know me, you know that I tend to do both of those things…A LOT.
2. Read more (goal is 24 books this year)
3. Keep a gratitude journal (daily)
4. Drink more water (and keep track of it)
5. Volunteer with the Girls Scouts
So there you go. That’s my 2014 resolution list. I’m ready to embrace and take on all that 2014 has in store for me! Let’s Go!
